at the spencer house we rehab billtated 20 hung windows. thissa the meeting rail and forms a weather skeel. the meeting rail rotd and was no longer sound. everything else was in wonderful shape. we took 20 of these guys out in a nice assembly line fashion. we moved the old rail with a tricky joint retrofitted these. that meant we had all the original historic dmrasz and sashes and we were able to do that for a hundred dollars a window which is far cheaper than the replacement costs. >> we have a member of the planning department who can help us. >> one of the things the planning department is charged with is preserving our neighborhood character. one of the most obviously features of a building is it's windows. if you come in with a replacement window permit and you are suggesting to pvinyl windows in where it was wood we will send that permit upstairs and have someone look at to see if you are degrading the building if you had a house with aluminum windows and you want to put in wood windows that help restore the character of that building

. >> spencer here with that.spencer. >> start with a closer look at the satellite image this afternoon. showing a little bit of fog along the coast line. we had a bit of a sea breeze that brought cooling effect to most areas south of the golden gate even to the south east but from the delta northward most of the bay area was a bit warmer today than yesterday. here's a look at our high pressure and you can see from san francisco south ward down to morgan hill most locations had high pressure that were a few degrees cooler than yesterday. now as you look here antioch to concord to san rafael northward most location were his a few degrees warmer than yesterday. that was our pl 2 weather pattern. right now looking at temperatures 58 degrees in san mainly 60's in the inland area except antioch which is a warm 77 degrees right now. highlight low clouds and fog will continue to move locally inland in. see a little change tomorrow from today's pattern and we'll see much warmer weather later this week and right on through

you work with spencer as well. let me show you a time lapse from our camera., it is warming up, and it is going to warm up in a big way. as you look at this time lapse here, this is what it looked like this afternoon. the fog just hovered most of the afternoon, and as a result, it was cooler at the coastline today, but the inland areas continue -- continued to come up. it was in the low 70s. we have 60s across much of the bay area along the coastline though the temperatures are in the 50s. here are the highlights. patchy coastal fog. a big warm up for tomorrow. and we are looking at a cooling trend at the end of the week. so today's warm up is just a taste of what's coming tomorrow. looking at the satellite and the radar, an area of low pressure that is keeping us in the cooler than normal mode is exiting. so the higher pressure takes control of our weather. it is going to be much warmer tomorrow. here is what's going to happen. the wind flow around the area of high pressure is bringing the wind out of the northwest. we are already seeing signs of the northwes
