george spencer is investigating the gas company's safety record. we begin with denise who is live in stafford. >> reporter: i just got off the phone with the gas company spokesman who said they should be able to make repairs by midnight. much like these workers who are out here the two utility workers who were injured were only standing feet away when the education explosion happened. they were knocked to the ground and dragged to safety by a couple of police officers. you can see the damage. debris not placed here but blown here by the blast. people say video from a police dash cam captured only part of the impact of the natural gas explosion. >> everything just shoot. it was chaotic everywhere. >> reporter: police arrived within six minutes of the first report followed by firefighters ems and gas workers. 90 minutes to evacwatsuate homes before the blast that left nothing but a foundation to a home at the site. >> the whole house shot straight up in the air. it's unbelievable. >> reporter: it blew out windows of neighboring homes and tossed chunk
