spencer christian is here with the forecast. say it ain't so. >> it's only a little bit of rain that, you don't have to worry about it. here is a look at live doppler 7. we have light, very light scours mainly into sonoma county. you see the areas where it's a little bit damp, but these showers, again, are pretty light. the satellite composite shows a cold front sweeping down from our northwest. that's what's pushing the showers into our area. the storm ranks one on the storm impact scale, a storm of light intensi intensity. so for tonight and early early tomorrow morning, we may see a few more scattered light showers. less than a tenth of an inch in most areas and then breezy. going into the evening hours, we'll see a couple more batches of light showers moving not only into the north bay, but the peninsula coastline as well. during the overnight hours, we'll see the showers tapering off, giving hope for dry pavement for morning commuters. i'll give you a closer look at that, and a dryer week ahead in a few minutes. dan and ama

in silver springs, darcy spencer, news4. >>> this week we learned thousands more people are ridin. the d.c circulator bus now that it's free, but there has been plenty of support to expand that bus service to more neighborhoods. as mark seagraves reports, not everyone fwrees on keeping it free. >> we are on our community outing totey. >> repor christian herbert relies on the circulator to take her group around town. they are headed to the southwest wharf. >> it works for me with my job. some people don't he metrocards. it helps us out. we get on the bus for free. >> reporter: donald williamson living on a fixed income rides the circulator almost every day. >> because everyone doesn't have money to pay for transportation. certainly it's free, it helps someone save some money. >> reporter: in february, the mayor waived the $1 fee in an effort to get more people on the bus and out of their cars. since then ridership has gone the first month. free ride more than 20,000 additional rides than february of last year, and then in march nearly 80,000 additional rides over march of last year.

darcy spencer with the disturbing details of what detectives found. reporter: the body was found about 7:30 yesterday evening here in a wooded area under chain bridge on the dc side. police are confirming one of the victims' hands had been cut off. they'renvestigating it as a homicide. the body was apparently discovered by someone walking in the area. this is a popular part of the c & ooow pathing that runs along thebridge. we don't know how this man ended up here or how he dice. pore only confirming the victim was a man, but at this point have not been able to identify him. police say he did have trauma to his body and pronounced dead here on the scene. police do need help identifying this man. if you have any information that would help, you're asked to call d.c. police. day spencer, news4. >>> we are tracking breaking news out of southwest virginia where a cave rescue is going on. a group of men went camping in the cyclops cave saturday fight and got trapped because of heavy rain. we'll show you the rescue scene now taking placele in cland, virgini
