spencer, thank you so much.f course, major flooding is shutting down 101 in the north bay because of what we have. take a look at this. this is northbound 101 at arana lane in santa rosa. you can see caltrans crews in water up to their waists. only carve here, but still the southbound lanes are partially open but only passable on the shoulder. and farther north in sonoma county, a home actually slid into the russian river. abc seven news reporter suzanne phan is live right now and has the latest on the landslide in forestville, near guerneville. suzanne. >> so we are in forestville, and this in sonoma county is an area where it's been raining all afternoon long. and that's part of the problem. in the distance there, you can see the debris from a house that had slid down the hill. now it was around 1230 this afternoon when authorities say they got a 9-1-1 call about a massive landslide. and when they arrived, they saw that a house that was on the steep hillside there had slid down the hill into the russian river.

spencer. thank you. in the south bay, investigators are trying to determine the cause of a house fire in san jose. crews responded to tho story home on woodland terrace just after 5 a.m. firefighters were able to put out the flames, but not before a cat died in the fire. no people were hurt, but now seven adults are going to have to find a new place to live. now to the latest on the trump administration. a federal judge in new york has granted a temporary restraining order blocking elon musk's doge team from accessing highly sensitive taxpayer data. 19 states, including california, sued the trump administration to block government employees associated with doge from accessing social security numbers and bank account information of millions of americans. here's abc news reporter perry russom with the details. >> a federal judge in new york granting a temporary restraining order to 19 states suing over elon musk's department of government efficiency's access to highly sensitive taxpayer records.

let's get the very latest now from abc seven news weather anchor spencer christian. let's talk about the timeline and how long these showers are going to last. >> okay, diana, as you accurately stated, it is a soggy sunday and it's about to get soggier over the next couple of days. looking at live doppler seven right now, you can see that what we have remaining today of this most recent storm is very light. light scattered showers, and we still have a flood watch. in effect, it d been in effect for the entire bay area until now. it's been reduced to solano county and the carquinez strait and the delta. it's in effect until 10:00 tonight because the ground is still saturated, and even the light rain that's falling now can add to flooding possibilities. so this is a level one storm through this evening. showers, mainly north bay, breezy to gusty. rainfall totals will be under a quarter of an inch. but here's what's coming our way tomorrow and tuesday. as you watch the forecast animation, we've got steadier, heavier, stronger rainfall accompanied by strong gusty wind to
