once you head to spotsylvania, you are not in the advisories, rather windy but not in the advisory. to 45 miles an hour. right now we have 26 in washington, pax river, cambridge and easton 27. 29 fredericksburg. 22 winchester, martinsburg. cumberland and petersburg are only 19. wind chill in cumberland is 4. wind chill in winchester is six. feels like seven in gaithersburg. and here in washington, our wind chill is running at 13 degrees in in spite of the 26. we have a sustained wind at 17 miles an hour. it is really tough to be outside without a lot of protective gear. temperatures, the arctic stuff, here it is. you see it in canada to the gulf coast where atlanta is 27. new orleans 25. 24 in panama city beach this morning, believe it or not. raleigh 30. in the southwest not bad with phoenix in the 60s. the jet stream coming to the northwest, dipping in the middle of the country. this will take a disturbance across the south in the short term but it will also bring another storm across the region and try to lift one out of the gulf of mexico as we head in to the late saturday night
