even spotsylvania i have some reports of 5 inches. in the purple areas, these are our winter weather advisories for another hour or so across charles and st. mary's counties. we're watching the snow south of town. this is similar to a few winters ago when we had 2 inches of snow and around march 2 or so, we picked up 5 and a half. well, this was the same type of setup except it missed us by about 50 miles. southern fauquier toward culpeper starting to shut down. maybe one or two hours of snow left for southern maryland. the dark blue extending from spotsylvania and thurnburg, you can see a little enhance -- thornburg, you can see a little enhancement. that's a pretty good snow band. the difference in southern maryland, it's a bit milder. you may pick up an inch or two on the grassy surfaces. thankfully we're above freezing almost everywhere with 40 at national. la plata snow heavier south, 35 and about 40 on the bay. i will be back in a few minutes and talk about the return of springtime when i see you next. jessica, back to you. >> t
