we are in silver spring, specifically the montgomery hills neighborhood. we're at the corner of georgia and seminary. yesterday was a lot of phone. we got to go urban sledding, have snowball fights, play in the beautiful fluffy white snow. that's all gone. this is what we're left w. it's crunchy, yucky, dirty snow. not as much fun but it is out of the roads. that is the good news. a lot of people are walking. people are still in the streets, very dangerous, especially on roads like georgia avenue here. but they really don't have a lot of choice here in the matter because a lot of the sidewalks are quite a mess. there is a truck right over there that is stuck. i don't know if you can see past these pedestrians, that big semi. it's actually stuck right now. we're going to see a lot of that this morning especially turning off on to the side roads. on our way here, we had trouble pulling off one of those side roads but my photographer got out of the truck, went and shot some video. i want you to look at some of that video rye now. some of those roads that we s
