ps cu we are only a mile east of downtown colorado springs. they have been working for hours trying to clear the street. we talked to city employees saying it had rained before the hail hit this area and all the drainage ended up coming right here. we talked to the man who lives in this house. his entire basement was flooded. house. all this hail and water ended uptaking out the front fence that was supposed to actually protect this house. we talked to the man. he said he is not sure what he is going to do, but he feels lucky to be alive. talking to the neighbors, this rain started 1:30 and the hail came in around 2:00. one man said it seemed like it hailed for an entire hour. as we look at these front loaders neighborhood. the city said there are other issues, but this is the biggest one. we are live in colorado springs. >> from jeff jeff, let's head into the storm center. >> let's go back to noon and you can see that's when the showers and thunderstorms really take ahold and they grew and have gotten heavieren heavier that area from el paso
