this accident is eastbound approaching spring garden. we saw fire crews, all the police, they were blocking the two left lanes and now you can see they're pretty much off to the side. we still have police on the scene, a couple of vehicles remain and we still have a jam. let's check it out. this is the schuylkill expressway and you see this eastbound traffic, wow, look at the travel time we just punched up. it takes you over an hour on the schuylkill eastbound to get from the blue route to the vine whereas westbound is an easy 17 minutes. that's a huge delay at this early hour. eastbound jams approaching city avenue to approaching spring garden. now, that accident has just been pushed to the side so i think these times are going to ease but if you're heading out right now you're sitting in traffic for an hour on the schuylkill expressway eastbound. that is a mess between the blue route and the vine, jammed for over an hour here because of that accident. now things are improving that the lanes aren't blocked but it's already a mess. this
