francisco. this event included an additional st. closure on mason street. there was also the java conference. providing sound for various events, including the largest that has taken place on charger i have been for the last few years. some of you may remember, the 2009 event got numerous complaints from island residents and even further away than treasure island. this year however, staff is extremely pleased to report that there were virtually no sound complaints from a party for 20,000 people on the island that went until 1:00 in the morning staff believes this was due to the very hard work of inspector granelli, who did sound checks earlier and then was on scene during the event. there were also outreach efforts to the residents. the studios did great work. this down vendors to keep the sound directional and reasonable throughout the evening. -- the sound of vendors. -- sound vendors. five calls came in on one line throughout the whole evening, and most of them were concerned with traffic issues. this has brought a lot of money to the city in many ways, not just of the ski event of treasur

st. in san francisco, right in front of the u.s post office this sign reads 10 min parking from 8 am tillcity is all slightly different. it reads 10 minute parking from 9 am until 6 p.m. i guess no one bother to read the sign when the painted the curb. outside of 18th and delores, outside the creamery, yet another green zone with another confusing message. because on the curb it reads 10 minute parking from 9 am until 6 pm, which seems fair but if you read the official street sign. it says tow-away no stopping they your years of from 4 pm until 6 pm, so which official sign do you believe? the the over at 16th and sanchez, the senate bill fell over adding new disabled ramps, they of even move the hydrant but apparently it was just a little too hard to move the red one with the hydrant, because here is the hydrant and here is the red zone. this is the proper way trees or i to paint a curb around a if hydrant, three feet of red on both sides that is city law. over on page and laguna this hydrant has, get this, a 30 foot red zone. but they placed this no stopping sign to fix it. although, it

name is keith loring and i am an emergency physician in the city and worked at san francisco for over 15 years and st. mary's and i see things from a provider perspective and i think that what concerns -- i do have some concerns on the overall with the possibility of hamhocking the possibility to plan for health care in the city. i think as the arguments for or against whether we need a master plan, i think that is a very wise thing. how we structure that and how that process goes forward, i think that is worth very careful thought because there is there where we are accelerating the change of the delivery of health care as mentioned by the commission here. and nowhere do you understand this more than on the front lines in the emergency departments of the city. we do take care of 50% of the homeless. and so any look at this legislation and i just want to make the comments brief and really needs to take a much broader look at purpose and goals and aim and not be so caught up in the details to drag us to slow down and increasing and rapidly changing delivery and payment for health care. thank you. >> g
