st. helena this morning. that is all because of a weak little weather system pushing through, bringing those clouds as well. you can see our temperatures are in the upper 40s to low 50s at this hour. and as we head through the day, looking at mid-50s along the coast, upper 50s to about 60 degrees around the bay and low 60s and when this afternoon. and justice are you on future cast, all of those clouds streaming and as we go through our day. all right, let's check in with michelle doing double duty this morning, how are the roadways out there? >> yes, don't worry, gianna will be back tomorrow. we are tracking a few hotspots right now, seeing a few red on the map right here, a few red spots. one is this accident in the east bay on westbound 80 in pinole. the offramp is partially blocked, so it is slowing speeds just a little bit in that area, but not too many cars on the road, that is helping out. supercomputers are starting to see a slow down now from the past, looking like a 30 minute drive from 205 to 680 i

st. helena, 31 an diablo. temperatures right now 40s, 50s and it's a level one of our storm impact scale. through tonight expect some brief heavy rain, a wet evening commute and breezy to gusty conditions out there. the hour by hour forecast 6:00 tonight you're still going to run into some pockets of moderate to heavy rain even at 7:00 p.m., pretty widespread. and then by 9:00 p.m. it switches over to more limited showers going into the late night hours. by tomorrow morning maybe a drop or two in a few locations. it's really isolated at 4:00 before it is done. in terms of additional rainfall totals we're looking attttttt about four tengs of an inch. in the mountains it's a winter weather advisory to about 4:00 a.m. tomorrow. highest peaks will pick up about 19 inches of snow so travel is going to be difficult. best to hold off until the storm has passed before you get a window. temperatures in the morning, 30s, 40s. one thing to watch out for will be some fog in the morning and afternoon it's going to be a bre

st. helena, kernville has been picking up some rain, there is more heavy rain around, indicating some heavy or downpours along the marin county coast. we are going to be watching this move across the rest of the bay area as we head to the rest of this evening so let's switch over to the future cast and get a good handle on where the rain is let's wind the clock forward and it shows the pockets of heavy rain making their way are there and farther inland as we head to that overnight hours. it is nearly a 100% chance of rainfall for us, off and on showers, taking over as we head into the rest of tonight once the heaviest rain moves off to the east and that should happen by midnight. another burst of additional moisture indicated by the forecast models for the first half of the day on tuesday, and again some pockets of heavy rain here and there but there are also going to be dry areas so it will not be an all-day washout. resume out a little wider here and you can see we get into a more prolonged stretch of drier weather, that is not necessarily going to be the end of the storm system. job done
