st. luke's hospital with a gun shot wound in the arm. he's expected to be okay. then aroundnd0:30 last night, dubuque police found shell casings and some property damage from gunshots. police say bullets hit the house at 611 university avenue. people were inside, but no one was hurt. and around 1:45 this morning, waterloo police responded to two gunshots. officers fofod shell asings in both the 11 hundred block of west mullen and the 500 block of elm street. no one was hurt, though. there have not made any arrests, but anyone with information should call the waterloo police. a two car crash on an icy road killed one person early this morning in black hawk county. it happened around 5:30 a-m on east dunkerton road near north raymond road. authorities say one vehicle crossed the center line and hit the other vehicle head on. one driver died at the scene. the sheriff's office has not released the name of the person who died or the condition of t t other driver. investigators are trying to find out what caused a fire that destroyed a hog confinement building in washi
