fox 5's stacey cohang is live at the university in northwest washington with the details. stacey. reporter: the university does claim that they acted upon these complaints, but that has not stopd this group of students from suing howard university. here's what they say happened. some female students say they were part of a work/study program. that program was run by a man named george bright abo and these young women claim he used that program as an opportunity to sexually harass and sexual assault them. they further claim that when they went to university officials, the university did nothing to investigate and to protect them. >> around april mr. bright abo called me into his office, told me he wanted to speak with me with some work. he then started touching me and saying inappropriate things to me. >> i felt a certain way about it when i went into the university and now upon coming out, it's a completely different light. reporter: the women took their complaints to the metropolitan police department and bright abu has been charged with misdemeanor sexual assault, placed on 60 d
