she is stacy stites. was reported missing earlier that morning after she didn't show up for work at the h-e-b grocery. the truck belongs to her fiance. he tells the sheriff's department that stites drove that truck to work. he sits down with authorities to give his account of the previous evening. acoraling to fanel, she went to bed about 8:40, and he went to bed about 9:00. and that she left at the same time as usual, 3:30 a.m. a dna sample is obtained from semen in the body. and tithes fiance is found deceptive in two polygraph tests. fanel is cleared, and they say the timeline drawn, he could not have killed his fiance. nearly 30 suspects are cleared, other a dozen through dna testing. the case goes cold. police have a dna sample and no match. then months after stacey stites is murdered, a break. >> a 19-year-old tells police a man tried to force her to have sex with him after she gave him a ride. she identified rodney reed. this appears to lead authorities to take a closer look at reed who was accused

stacy: thank you so much for that question. two key points. the data that i was offering in terms of near universal discrimination are from our national transgendered dissemination survey, and that was a survey that was limited to over 6500 transgendered individuals that were surveyed across the nation and across the u.s. territories. and so, that was particular to transgendered and gender nonconforming individuals. the second point, with respect to the filings that were referenced from the department of labor, i think that it is critical that we continue to examine the levels of the filings and examine what types of discrimination are happening because the two aspects are happening simultaneously, in terms of the public becoming aware of their rights and their ability to file such claims in the ability for government agencies to be responsive, such as the department of labor to be responsive to the types of claims that are being filed. in addition, i think that a point that was made earlier with respect to the marketplace is another clear ind
