it was hosted by garvin thomas, of course, and stanford blood center. 92 people stopped by the princeton plaza to donate, and another 20 people visited other stanford blood center locations to give blood. stanford says if you donate once, it has the potential to help. three different people in need of blood and those who donated were entered into a drawing to win vip tickets for an usher concert. not bad. very cool. well, puppies. not the typical passengers, but today they were dozens of guide dog puppies in training. rode the ferry from the east bay into san francisco. after that ferry ride, the dogs toured a number of shops and had lunch on the embarcadero. last month, a similar outing introduced the puppies to the bart system. organizers say the goal of all these experiences is to make sure the dogs are comfortable taking transportation and being in crowds. members of the foggy doggie alumni chapter tagged along to. and we try to do fun events and have we do zoom calls with speakers, but about twice a year we really try to do a fun event. and coming to san francisco on the ferry is th

another 20 visited other stanford blood center locations to donate there. stanford says there's an urgent need for type o blood, and if you donate once, it has a potential to help three different people in need of blood. people forget. i think i was talking to gavin this morning, and since the pandemic, we've seen less donors coming in. and so i'm really hoping that this year is our year, that we kind of get back on track. now, those who participated got some pretty cool little perks. a $10 visa gift card, and they were entered into a drawing to win vip tickets for an usher concert. that sounds pretty cool. all right, well, dozens of puppies in training rode the ferry from the east bay to san francisco today. these dogs are in a program that trains them to be guide dogs for the blind. so a number of guide dog teams took part in today's ferry trip, which included a shopping tour and lunch on the embarcadero. last month, a similar outing introduced the puppies to the bart system. organizers say the goal of all these experiences is to make sure the dogs are com
