joining us now is dylan gorrell from the stanford daily. dylan, nice to have you on the program. okay. tell me about it. the initial response from stanford when you said you were a reporter on assignment and then got arrested. what the university tell you? well, they told me that it didn't it didn't necessarily matter. it seemed that their initial response when i was initially arrested was that i had no legal right to be there. you know that journalism, in their eyes, was a crime, and that reporting and being a journalist, you know, deserved being arrested, deserved having possibility of three felony charges. i'm welcoming this news this morning, and i'm really glad that stanford has now decided to drop the pending disciplinary charges. and i feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders that has been on me for the last seven months. yeah, i'm sure it's been a long seven months. were you ticked off? dylan? confused about what happened? what were your emotions? well, i mean, i definitely was trying to go about this rationally and, you know, letting my judgment at the door. thro
