police chased the car for about six blocks until it crashed into another car near geary and stanger around 3:30 today. three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. the officer had only minor injuries as well. glad to say. >>> returning now to the giants world series celebration, some fans who ignored the advice to take mass transit drove into san francisco and were met with an unexpected surprise. they found parking. check out this lot just south of market. who would have thunk it. employees there say regular financial district workers didn't show up today and that left plenty of space for fans who drove, especially if they arrived early. >> it was pretty light. we left at 8:00, so it only took about a half hour. >> did you have any problem finding parking? >> no. no. it was no problem at all. >> pretty easy for people. the demand was so light, parking stayed at its regular rate at most lots. compare that to the parking prices around at & t park during the world series games. they skyrocketed to about $140 a day. >>> san francisco mayor ed lee found a bit of a silver lining
