he was arrested at stansted airport on suspicion of manslaughter and trafficking. investigation. thank you, ed thomas. our home affairs correspondent, daniel sandford, joins me now. we don't know if any of these young vietnamese people were in that container, but what their story highlights is the lengths people will go to to get to the uk. is we've investigated this trafficking route from vietnam to the uk, it's been striking how incredibly organised it all is. first, as soon as essex police said it was thought that people in the container were chinese, we were being contacted by people from vietnam, saying, we are a bit worried it might be our relatives, because they knew where their relatives were, moving across europe, and these families had paid deposits or their young family members to be transferred to europe, and they were going to pay the balance on arrival, another indication of how sophisticated it all is. some families who had paid some money has been given their money back, because the people smugglers themselves believe that their relatives have died.
