joshua starr. that should be coming up around the 7:00 hour. for now, we are standing by and talking a little bit about some of the new things, the new buildings here in montgomery county this year. they are expecting 149,000 students to go back to school here in montgomery county and just as a comparison, i was just looking up. loudoun county has 68,000 students so you can see how big of a school system montgomery county is. they are opening a brand-new elementary school in silver spring. they decided to name it the flora singer elementary school. it is the first new school in montgomery county since 2009. students also at paint branch high school will be returning to a brand-new mod werized school campus so that will be exciting for them as well. at rockville high school and watkins mill, students there will be able to enter a new international baccalaureate career program that. will focus on the needs of students who perhaps aren't going on to college but do want to start a career in technology or other fields like that after high school. on
