it has been a very emotional week for a's fans and it's only wednesday right now the nevada state assemblying on amendment 2 sb one. that's the a's stadium bill. it passed the state senate there yesterday. and the assembly is expected to reconvene later on this afternoon and could hold the vote by the end of the day. if it does not get enough votes, the proposal is dead. if it passes and then goes to the state senate for anotver vote and those lawmakers would then have to approve amended plan before it goes to the governor's desk who is expected to sign it into law. so while all of that is playing out in the silver state a's fans are not saying goodbye quietly. they packed the coliseum to the tune of 27,000 fans last night. this reversed boycott bringing in the team's biggest crowd of the season outside of the arena. there was a huge party, including tailgate, live music. all the fans there. we've got a chance to catch up with mayor sheng tao before the game and she told us she is not done trying to keep the a's in oakland. doing everything that we can right. we have been up to negotiation
