uber has appealed the decision of the state puc. they repealed the decision because they claim there is just an app. yet there are a lot of arguments that claim they're not just an app because actually have to hire the drivers and actually pay the drivers through the app. so, i urge you to get more involved because the mayor and the city attorney don't want to get involved. they've shown a reluctance in this area. and i urge you to please do this. i would love to drive friday and saturday nights, but i hardly do that because the business isn't there. everybody is looking at their phones calling these apps that don't have proper insurance and i'm not making money. i'd rather be dancing at mighty than serving at mighty because of the fact we're being railroaded out of the industry. and we're losing good drivers, losing good drivers and we're losing the business. puc. we've represented the regulatory at the local state and a federal level. we've passed about 50 items at the board of supervisors. at the state level we are pro-active in having an our priorities as well as advocating interests. lecturer we advocated working closely with s f p u d for proposition 39 which resulted in an altered two or $3 million and energy efficient dollars. at the federal level we've been working with the mayor's office to talk about infrastructure. last week our general manager and mayor ed lee presented those to the committee. last friday you may have seen a clip-on mayor ed lee on n s nbc and when they asked what he was going to ask president obama to get into priority tiger's water. we're extremely excited. and now the implementation at the water program. we are he w we have a total of 31 water stations and half of those are installed at the city hall's. it was a terrific opportunity for young people to get the explore for what the puc does and how to reach out to young folks. and the 6 hundred and 40 member is the context of the mayor

i'm here to thank this lady for stating we need to look at was going on and this puc needs to know we're here because when we do go to the art commission and e they ignore us but when we come here and put a little bit of pressure on the puc they in turn look at the commission and we get result. the majority of the art groups in the bayview health department they were not even looked at the. the monies were given out bye before we got a chance to submit our proposal and that's very unfair. we're not being able to sustainable help our young people and develop our cult because we don't get any funding so we are going to look at doing graffiti and a our kids and our young black kids they're not getting what we as their parents as artists can give them and we're asking and begging that this puc with the cash cow situation look at what do you do what a big mess i made by giving our commission this money instead of the money in the bayview health department's we've never gotten any money from this art commission and at the don't recognize us i've been playing the game since 1968 we're going to
