the search is on for a suspect in a sexual assault at san jose state university.phanie chuang reports. >> reporter: good morning. we are here where it was actually pretty deserted yesterday on labor day but that's when a female student says she was sitting in front of the administration building at 9:30 yesterday morning and was approached by a man who offered her a cigarette. they started chatting and apparently he was able to convince her to go to the engineering building where she said he groped her and she did fight back and was able to break free. that's when she actually came this way, took off running around the corner at san fernando and 7th to that bus stop right there. that heads to capital and snell. so she jumped on the bus. she said he followed her, jumped on the bus, too. and they rode the entire line to the very end at capital and snell, that's when he realized that she was calling pd. this is 7 or 8 miles later. he jumped off the bus and ran off. police don't know where he is. they sent a message to san jose state students yesterday with a descript
