breaking news on staten island. a man was found stabbed to death in a park near the staten island ferry terminal. tracie strahan has been gathering information on what happened. >> reporter: there's still a significant police presence here happened to officers from the 120th precinct block off the perimeter as the investigation into this continues. we'll show you video of the investigation that started when the body was discovered just before 2:00 this morning. it was discovered by someone passing by on a park bench. we don't know the age, but they believe that person is believed to be in their 30s. upon arrival, the victim had been stabbed several times in the torso according to he was declared dead at the scene. we've seen many officers and detective going down the ramp near the ferry terminal where all of this happened with flashlights, combing this area for evidence that could lead to the killer. they believe this man to be in his 30s, not yesterday identified. so far it's not clear what could have led to this.
