kpix 5's kiet do joins us from the state department of public health offices. ak is hitting home in the bay area with one confirmed case discovered in alameda county. disney is now working with the state department of public health to figure out what happened. they now believe that one person entered the park and then gave the disease to everybody else. nine cases of children with measles had one thing in common they visited disneyland or disney california adventure park between december 15 and 20. 7 of the 9 cases were from california. the other 2 are from utah. 6 of these children did not get vaccinated. but two of them were just too young to get it. the outbreak has been a wake-up call for parents. >> we heard there was a recent outbreak and, of course, with our little one we are having a conversation with vaccinations in general. >> they don't believe that measles is a serious disease and they are worried about vaccine adverse effects and because of that it their children are susceptible and they can get the disease and then they can transmit it to others. >
