ste cooper is live in natick with what happened here today. >>reporter: a lengthy hearing in natick but that's where members of the victim's family stood one by one testifying before the board asking if they denied parole to a convicted killer who told those board members he's sorry. >> i have no uses for all i want to do is express how remorseful i am. >>reporter: apologizing to the parole board. the victim suffered from multiple sclerosis and walked with a cane. she was stabbed to death. he befriended flynn's family for several years before a dna match him to the murder. he says he's a different person now, rehabilitated, despite being grilled by the parole board. >> can you ask the family to accept my apology. i've already taken so much for them. i understand my apology will not change my actions. however, i do pray my actions today and in the future can atone for their loss. >>reporter: he was denied parole back in 2010 and five years later family members of flynn hope he's denied again. >> i want him to know i'll never accept his apology,
