correspondent stefan siemens has been out on the streets of minneapolis and he sent us this report. we're at a walgreen's drug store here in minneapolis and this store got looted ransacked and pretty much destroyed 48 hours ago there was a curfew supposed to be in place national guard and police would have according to the theory security and protect that the store but the curfew never happened police and national guard just vanished. and now for someone to just set it on fire. well if the protest and violence in the wake of george floyd's killing seem like a deja vu it's because we have seen it all before the anger and sadness sparked by racism and violence against black men by police and often in punitive for those responsible for their deaths has led to some of the biggest protests on american soil of the past decade. so i guess in missouri august 24th teen peaceful protest has turned into chaos property damage and heavy handed police response sparked by the fatal shooting of michael brown a black teenager by white police officer karen wilson. wilson said he acted in self defense
