and supervisor stefani? >> supervisor stefani: thank you, madam clerk. colleagues, from the onset of this pandemic, one of my foremost concerns is the impact this crisis would have in the mental health community. over the last week, i have spoken with the domestic violence consortium and the san francisco domestic violence prevention, and the reports are troubling. incidents are increasing across the industry. san francisco suicide prevention reports that they have seen a significant increase in the acuity of callers that require immediate emergency intervention. normally, these kinds of cases occur two to three times per month, and they are now occurring two to three times per week. they also report seeing a 22% increase in first-time callers since the shelter in place went into effect, and overall, they have serious concerns that even a larger spike may just be over the horizon as people have to spend time rebuilding their lives after the orders are lifted. i'm calling for a hearing so that domestic violence consortium are seeing on the ground so we ca
