[ applause ] starts at 11:00. >> what kind of actions can state governments do to transform to 100% clean energy without the federal government's support? >> it's not easy without the federal government's support. but some of the cities that i mentioned, like seattle and oakland, and a state like maine, the key thing we've discovered is for all of the stakeholders to be at the table. if labor isn't at the table, it doesn't work. labor has to be there. front line community, people of color. the communities that have been the most impacted. indigenous communities, where those are. and state legislators. and a lot of lawyers. and one thing that becomes clear when you look at what's happening in all these cities, there isn't a cookie cutter. that's why it has to be decentralized, because every city has different challenges and different opportunities, depending on topography, depen

friends and her family is heterogeneous a lot of the women that are amazing feminist icons like gloria steinem jane fonda we spoke to are there you have nothing to lose by being liberal you know their group the people that feed them you know it's pretty they have an a lot of the same similar political views so i find dolly's stance. really refreshing and also just interesting for me to self or flat on people get to do whatever they want to do she's doing what she wants to do she loves jane fonda you know and i know she has opinions. behind the scenes but i don't think she wants to throw those on people she wants people to figure it out for themselves she's an independent thinker but even if she doesn't. and party politics one of them has the i think the part cost brings out so well is that she's very strong. in political issues so she. stands up for a. community well before you know was popular to do so. and the other thing that she's quite radical on is education so i let helen i'm going to end you there unfortunately but we can tweet out more on how she's great on education that's human when

( cheers and applause ) so there was gloria in handcuffs signing the constitution. >> stephen: that's great. now, you got our friend sam waterston in trouble, too. sam waterston was arrested at one of these. >> sam is a self-described moderate -- >> stephen: mm-hmm. -- but he understands that these are times that requirer that we go beyond our comfort zones, and, so, he did with me, he got arrested. two weeks later, he sends a picture to me of himself in handcuffs during the half time at the harvard-yale gam
