stephanie chuang is at the scene with what is happening right now. good afternoon, stephanie. >> reporter: good afternoon, to you both. we just learned that the suspect and one of his victims died at sf general around 9:30 this morning. as for the crime seen on the 600 block of funston everybody, you can you -- avenue, there are a couple of investigators on the scene, focused on the cream-colored house where it started and it ended with a officer-involved shooting and it is a homicide investigation. the investigators focused on the doorway of the house with pools of blood. that's where the police found the first victim, an elderly woman stabbed in his forearm and in his hand. they went up the stairs and found an elderly woman bleeding heavily. she had been stabbed in her upper body. she later died. as they tried to pull the woman to safety, a man came at them, armed at knives and police say he raised a knife in each hand above his hand and threatened the officers and one of the officers shot with them the bean bag round and it was ineffective and the
