stephanie felder is the director of comprehensive crisis services for the city and county of san francisco providing crisis to intervention, mobile crisis for adults, child in crisis response teams for families [speaker not understood] violence. for nearly two decades of service she has given tremendously to our communities, supporting families and bringing mental health services directly to our neighborhoods. she has helped many mothers to overcome the loss of their children through homicide, suicide, or other crises. she has helped hundreds of victims of violence including domestic violence victims deal with posttraumatic stress and also to ensure that they get linked with wrap around services. led by the example of her parents, she started her work in the community at the age of 14 by participating in community health fairs volunteering for the american cancer society and assisting with coordination of community programs through her church.
