here's abc's stephanie ramos. >> reporter: tonight investigators are still trying to figure out what motivated 40-year-old dewayne craddock to bust into the government office building where he'd worked as an engineer for the public utility company for the last 15 years and open fire. police going to his home today that appeared to be equipped with cameras in the windows. investigators say they recovered two legally purchased .45 caliber handguns, high capacity magazines, a silencer at the scene and more weapons in his home, all purchased by the former virginia national guardsman. tonight neighbors telling us he kept to himself. >> whenever we had a conversation it was quick, short, and to the point, and he always went right inside. holidays never saw him, his mom. never saw anything, no visitors. >> reporter: one of his coworkers stunned. >> i talked to dewayne just before i left. as far as i know i was probably one of the last people to talk to him. it was a normal, hi, how you doing? have a good weekend thing. and i left. there was absolutely no sign of anything different about him

abc's stephanie ramos is at reagan national airport with the latest. good morning, stephanie. >> reporter: eva, good morning. there are reports this morning that the department of justice has subpoenaed records from boei prodtionf the 78 t. this is according to "the seattle times." they're citing two sources familiar with the investigation. now, it's unclear, though, if this is an expansion of the ongoing doj criminal investigation into boeing's design of the 737 max after two deadly crashes or a separate move. but it does come just days after the faa found a new flaw with data processing in the 737 jet after simulated flights. "the new york times," they highlighted other allegations earlier this year where "the times" reviewed hundreds of internal emails and interviewed employees at its charleston plant who raised safety concerns about the production process there. boeing has said the charleston plant did have some issues early on but that they have been fixed. the company has been asked for comments about this new "seattle times" report, and boeing sa

stephanie ramos is in london with more. morning to you, stephanie. >> reporter: good morning, michael, from london. we are getting reports overnight that the duke and duchess of cambridge's convoy was involved in a road accident. here's what happened. a police motorbike leading the royal motorcade which was traveling to a royal event from windsor, hit and injured an 83-year-old woman who tried to cross the street in south london. the 83-year-old has been identified as irene minger. she is in the hospital with severe injuries but according to her daughter her condition is stable. kensington palace, they say this morning that the duke and duchess are, quote, deeply concerned and have sent their now, the response from the duke and duchess was actually pretty swift unlike the palace's reaction when 97-year-old prince philip collided with a car last january. he was criticized for being slow to contact the passenger he injured. now guys, this is the fourth road incident involving a member of the royal family in the last seven mon

and stephanie ramos has more. stephanie, good morning to you. >> reporter: dan, good morning.rors convicted the accused murderer in 15 minutes this past week, but now the authorities just have to find him. this morning, u.s. marshals are on an all-out manhunt for convicted murderer rene carrillo. after appearing in texas court all week, they say he was a no-show on thursday, just a day before his trial was set to end. police say an ankle monitor similar to this one was found damaged. >> his ankle monitor had been cut off. it was threw on the side of the road in texas. >> reporter: some now wondering why the 25-year-old was free on bond while on trial for murder. >> i did not set the bond in this case. the assigned judge at the time did. and it may very well have been appropriate. i'm not second-guessing that at all. >> reporter: according to police, carrillo is seen here outside a strip club in this surveillance video from october 2017 when they say carrillo walks up to that mercedes car, shoots and kills the driver. and wounds the woman in the passenger seat. all of this stem

abc's stephanie ramos is live in london with the latest. morning that the duke and duchess of sussex will be leaving the royal foundation. that is the charitable organization that they share with the duke and duchess of cambridge. palace officials say harry and meghan will set up their own foundation. this means that the fab four are now officially going their separate ways. that's a split. that was anticipated after the queen created a new royal household for harry and meghan, essentially their own mini royal court and moved to frogmore in windsor this past spring. this foundation focuses on issues that are important to them including improving mental health. a palace spokesperson tells us that the couples will still work together on some projects, especially some projects that are in the works right now, but we will not see them tackling issues as a team under the em br -- umbrella of the royal foundation anymore. back to you guys. >> they'll be talking about that across the pond for a day or two. >>> new health headline -- i don't know h
