i'm stephanie rothman warning tonight. if you plan to spend some time on the coast this weekend, high surf advisory is now in effect through sunday. the national weather service issuing the advisory for san francisco, the peninsula and the north bay. authorities warn the large waves can watch people off beaches and capsize. small boats near the shore. calm for chief meteorologist lawrence karnow is tracking it all large. yeah. we've seen the damage done by some of those storms already members. santa war early on for people being swept out to sea. so >> you have to be really careful along the coastline. that rain moving in again. these storms, a series really generating that big swell along the coastline. and we're going to see more of that in the coming days. in fact, the national weather service issuing that high surf advisory talking 20, maybe some 30 footers, but seeing some amazing video, mavericks for they're seeing just some thunderous waves crashing in that area. but in general that area. but in general danger stuff
