i'm stephanie sierra and we will get to the latest in the middle east in just a bit. but first, let's check in on that forecast. good morning, lisa. >> hey, stephanie, good morning to you. waking up to very dense fog out there. visibility has been reduced to a quarter of a mile or less, starting out with live doppler seven. so you see the cloud cover ahead of us. high pressure is building in and compressing down on the atmosphere. that's why we have all of that moisture right at the surface. so quarter mile novato half mile in napa, just over two miles in santa rosa, two miles in concord. and you can't see anything at all. down by half moon bay. so until 10:00, you can see the north bay, the coast around half moon bay, all the way down the peninsula to hollister and the big sur area. so be very careful out there. maybe delay your travel. it is 60 in oakland and fremont was 56in santa rosa, a couple of degrees cooler. and a look at pier 39. looking kind of spooky this morning so the dense fog advisory with us throughout the mid-morning hours then turning partly cloudy.
