today in the bay's stephanie trong has the latest. what is going on there? >> well, good morning. i want to update you that the police have confirmed that there was a shooting here off southbound 101 near the connector, and we are here by story road. the reports of the shots fired led to the closure for at least an hour overnight. video of the scene from around midnight shows the lanes of southbound 101 to make way for the nine or so police officers searching across all lanes with the flashlights to look for something that is significant happening here, and we have confirmation that there was a shooting here. traffic is backed up, and we had a report that there was a report woman there, and maybe stuck in that backup, and san jose fire was called out here to respond to a medical emergency, but they would not specify for what. so again, still pretty early on, and we are working to get more details on what exactly happened here, and we know that the freeway reopened at 1:30 this morning, and for those of you hitting the road, no closure any lo longer here. stephanie trong, today in
