the stern grove festival association says that amount represents damage costs.lus, the cleanup and lost revenue tied to the flooding. well, a year and a half after it was badly damaged in the storm, people can once again head out onto the capitola wharf. now it's not open all the way to the end yet. the work is still going on, but visitors can walk out onto the wharf and enjoy that beautiful water. the grand reopening is scheduled for the wharf next month. the pier in capitola was badly damaged in january of 2023, in strong winter storms out there. the crews had to demolish several of the structures on the wharf because of that damage. >> 816 here, people in las vegas may want to mark their calendars for october 9th, as the tropicana resort is set to come down with a spectacular light show. bally's corporation said it has to blow up the resort's two hotel towers on that date. it's now waiting for approval from county leaders before the implosion. bally's and the oakland a's plan to host a drone and fireworks display to commemorate the moment that is the future s
