(justine) many said tonight that the mayor would be looking down from heaven with a big smile on his face... humbled to see such a crowd all gathering ... in chinatown, in his honor. "this little light of mine.. im gonna let it shine...let it shine..let it shine." at portsmouth square, thousands came to remember ed lee... and light a candle in his honor. many could not attend the city hall celebration of life, so this was their chance to come together. the vigil attended by city officials, co-workers of mayor lee and many people who live in chinatown. there was a mix of sadness and joy tonight. mayor lee was the first asian american mayor of the city and many said the historical imporantce of that .. cannot be overlooked.
