ceo steve ballmer called it part of a new family of devices in the, would for the tech family. it's all about 1 1/2 pounds. >> there's two different chips inside. one is called arm. that's the same chip type that the ipad uses. the other is using intel chip, the exact same chip in your pc and really they've done is combine the best of both worlds where they've brought the pc and tablet teague plus a pen. i think it's going to give people a lot more choice. >> the surface allows you to use a pen so you have more options how to interact with the screen. the tablet should be available in the fall. >> your next cab ride in the district will cost you less. a $1 fuel surcharge expires wednesday. the d.c. taxicab commission imposed the fee in march 11, but with the recent drop in gas prices, the commission decided the surcharge is no longer needed. >>> we found tickets on ebay to the first showing of the dark knight rises for as much as $150. the movie hits theaters july 20th. >>> big changes for metro riders rolling out push plus to make things easier, but what do riders think? react
