former democratic governor of kentucky steve beshear ripped into the president's plans to repeal obamacare (beshear) this isn't a game - it's life and death for people. democrats? and even many republcians? are also hounding the president about his plans for obamacare?. saying they're still waiting to hear how he plans to replace it without jeapordizing health care for millions of americans. maggie rulli abc news washington the preid sides of the aisle, at times. but when it was over, democrats and republicans were split on his message. we spoke with some local lawmakers minutes after the address, and here is what they said. before the president even began his speech, protests had already began outside the white house last night. despite the rain, hundreds of people gathered in lafeytte square, including comedian rosie o'donnell. the group called for him to be thrown out of office and says nothing he said in his speech would change their mind. the crowd heard from other speakers as well, including some who discussed the environment and american indian and muslim issues. happening right now
