(steve) police are investigating an deadly officer- involved shooting in south san francisco.... it happened overnight on cork place near callan park. when officers were at the scene... they were confronted by a suspect who was standing in the street with a shotgun. the officers shot and killed the manwhen he refused to listen to officers who told him to drop the gun. one officer was injured and taken to the hospital... where he is expected to be okay... there are no other suspects ... the incident remains under investigation. (pam) construction crews in butte county.. have started demolishing the destroyed portion of the main spillway at the oroville dam. you may remember, kron-4 reported back in febuary... huge chunks of the main spillway began washing away. and when a second emergeny spillway also began giving way authorities ordered the temporary evacuation of 188-thousand people downstream. crews aim to replace the lower portion of the spillway by november first ... because that's when winter rain and snow increase the flow of water into the lake.
