chaos and disorganization? >> and still more hope than practicality, steve. i mean, if you look at everything that has been tried so far, there's been no real consensus on what to do. there's been no clear strategy on what to do. i mean, it's been a kind of a situation-by-situation, grabbing at any particular opportunity. and i think that's one of the reasons it's not been terribly effective. they have had great difficulty, i think, rallying around ted cruz, because it's, you know, it's distasteful to many in the establishment to be supporting him. they have had trouble, particularly the current generation of republican leaders, getting behind john kasich. there's just no alternative that they find a consensus strategy for, so it continues to be kind of haphazard. >> so, michael, how do you see this playing out? let's put a scenario on the table and tell me what you make of this. if donald trump does fall short of 1,237, the magic number of delegates there, let's say he's sitting at 1,160, something like that, ted cruz a couple hundred behind him there. the c

steve, what can you report? >> i can tell you from the time that i left this morning at brussels airport after an incredible amount of chaos, brussels has shut down, locked down, and even in holland, i was on the last train leaving brussels today, it's taken five different trains to get into the airport i'm at now because there's such a high security protocol they keep mixing the trains and checking them inside the neighboring nation. this morning when i arrived just after the bombs went off there was a great amount of fear, but people were very orderly. the police and security services really were there almost immediately, some have speculated that there were special operations people just staged at the airport because it really did evacuate very fast. i've interviewed three or four people on the train who were with me at the airport, all of whom have different stories. one was very close to the bomb attack and felt extraordinarily lucky, kept breaking out in tears talking about it. so it's been a very, very tense morning all the way around. when i got out of the airport and was back at the major train station, there was

. >> there was chaos but it was orderly chaos and people could not move around as easily as steve dide efforts, i feel like i've heard these words many times before. isn't that what's been done? what's not working? >> they're not doing enough. so these communities, and i'm talking now about europe, but these communities, especially in brussels, the maelbeek society, they are not well integrated. >> what does that mean? >> they don't have the same opportunity for jobs. they are looked down upon because of religion. the whole mind set in europe needs to shift in order to give these people equal opportunity and also, frankly, respect. people feel like they're not -- these communities do not feel sufficiently respected and accepted within many of these european countries. i'm not saying across the board. there's still a long way to go in europe. even if you have trouble assimilating them, you have to give them equal opportunity to make a living and be a contributing part of society. a lot of these young men didn't have very many opportunities. >> steve, quick. >> ted cruz's comments infur
