. >> and i'm steve chenevey. >> up fortunately start on a down note. we're following breaking new anne arrundel country double fatal crash route 50 west of bay bridge. >> that has been causing a nightmare for drivers heading to annapolis from the eastern shore. erin will have more with in a minute. first at the scene with an update. an why you what can you tell bus the horrific crash. >> horrific for sure maureen and steve. serious crash involving two fate tallties. maryland state police have a difficult task of investigating what happened and i heard you eded this off the top there. police believe it was wrong way driver that caused accidents this morning just after 2:00. this is route 50 bay dale drive. westbound side shut down as you can see behind me here and you can see a lot of crews on the scene. debris scattered everywhere. they got a lot cleaned up and tow truck on the scene and we saw crews removing two bodies from two separate vehicles on the scene as well. it's not clear where of the three cars involved was driving the wrong way. but again
