clark. let's talk about weather and traffic. steveike a lion. maybe a big kitty cat. a little change there. it's cooler. there are still some low clouds around. it will be sunny today but cooler and breezy to windy. higher elevations, gusts 40, 50 miles an hour. this is what we should be having on the high side for these temperatures. the breeze, though, is the big story, not crazy for everybody. but i think you will notice it will be blustery. 16 gusts to 25. you get it along the coast, higher elevations 25 to maybe 50. not everyone is in on it yet. but there is a decent breeze there. san francisco some low clouds came in, partly cloudy, 65 still slightly above average. system didn't have much. 50s on the temps. they've been stuck all morning long. the breeze is holding them up. the low clouds not chewed up yet. breezy ans cooler. mostly sunny here. wind whyy at times. 60s and low 70s. out of the 80s. temperatures coming back closer to where they should be. we'll come back and tell you what's in store for tomorrow and easter weekend.

clark. let's talk about weather and traffic and steve is talking about your forecast but the snow back east.just talking about it. we talked about it during the break. this is what we were talking about. bolton valley ski resort in vermont has 230 inches. their peak is 31. mt. diablo is 38. did you imagine 250 inches in mt. diablo? that puts it in perspective. have we seen snow in dean dede -- in diablo this year? i can't remember. some areas can't stop getting snow. we have the fog back. that's made for a cooler forecast. we have more of a westerly breeze. west at sfo at 16. today oakland has an onshore wind. it will be nice up in the sierra nevada. it's nice in southern california. probably not record-sesting nice. 60s, morning fog. some of it is very thick. more 70s, 60s, closer by the water. all right, things are improving, sal? >>> things are improving. i want to warn people that are watching if you are intending on leaving san francisco today it may be a little bit of a tough drive out of the city because of spring break. people will be leaving early. let's take a look at the commute h

clark. a lot to talk about. steve is here talking about your forecast. >>> a lot of cloud cover. >> yeah. >> a lot of cloud cover. it's not as warm as it was, thank goodness on the weekend when we smashed records on the high tide, especially towards san jose. but there is a lot of cloud cover and very little rain. could be north up to mendocino county, lake county. that looks to be the line. anything south of that probably won't amount to too much. 56, 57, 58. monterey buoy hit 61 on saturday. that was the warmest march temperature ever recorded. look at the lows, 50s -- it's actually 58 in san bernardino. sfo is 59 degrees. normal lows for this time of year are 42, 49. we're above on all accounts. and so far, san francisco has had record high minimum temps on saturday the low was 57. and normal, average this time of year is 49. today is 58. that's three days in a row of record high minimum temps. any rain to the north, it's all tropical. temperatures will be very mild, including up in tahoe which was 65 yesterday for

clark. thank you for joining us. let's check your weather and traffic. stevelson has the very latest on the forecast. >> a lot of clouds. trying to get rain going. it looks more like show and go. possibility here, we're definitely in the mix for today. our system is just hugging the coast. most of the energy is offshore. some of that is pushing in on the san mateo, cruz coastline. parts of the peninsula heading to the valley. a closer look in a second. a couple of light showers around la honda. santa cruz coast, that looks to be the best bet. right off san francisco. i heard from my friend, pouring in phoenix. flash flood warnings are out. that's torrential rain for them. somebody is getting good rain. 40s, 50s on the temps. napa was the coolest. if this system took the turn inland, we could get widely scattered showers. a lot of this looks like it's going to go across the coast and follow more towards southern california. there is the low, it will keep us on the cloudy to mostly cloudy side. and light snow in the shear. not like they had -- and light snow in
