steve: all right. katie, thank you very much for the live report from pennsylvania. go out on the streets of pennsylvania and our senior meteorologist janice deans the day ahead. we have a lot of rain over the weekend throughout the northeast. what about today, j.d. >> you can tell the atmosphere is saturated. we have the potential for thunderstorms really for the next few days but a break today for the most part. let's take the a look at it. look at all the watches and warnings we experienced yesterday. we had a couple of tornado warnings as well upstate new york, as well as new jersey. we had severe thunderstorm warnings and would flash flood alerts. dozens of them over the last 48 hours. today, a better day, but, again, the at more fear is juicy. it doesn't take everywhere to get a thunderstorm going and the potential for some flash flooding. but it's really tuesday things start to get a little bit more frisky in terms of the radar. tuesday into wednesday. as a cold front moves in and along that cold front we could see the potential for some super cells that could produce some heavy rainfall. we'vekeep an eye on that. flash flood threat for

steve: great idea. brandy, thank you very much for the live report from the streets of montpelier. 20 minutes after the top of the hour check in with janice deanituation up there. >> so heart breaking. you heard that last resident say they have never experienced something like this. the last time they had flooding like this was back in 2011 with hurricane the remnants of irene. you have to go back to the 1920s to see the mount of flooding that they have seen in northern and central vermont. there is more rain in the forecast by the way. let's take a look at what is hang right now. one of the rain totals, of course, we are looking at the potential for more rain in the forecast on top of the nine, ten inches that they received in vermont. and why news ski river by the way still at major flood stage will we have more rain in the forecastna. is going to add more snout injury. go back to 1927 to see the that is what is causing destruction and catastrophic destruction to the area. more rain not only today but heading into thursday, friday and the weekend. taking a look at our fox model here, rounds of more wet weather and if you have got rain settin
