steve keeley is live in camden with the details, steve? >> reporter: well, good news is the man is critical and still alive right at cooper hospital right across the street from police headquarters where this investigation, continues. now lets the go to the video of this hit and run happened just past nine saturday here in camden and within 24 hours police put out this 172nd surveillance clip of the white van that they say critically hurt the man who was opening the door of his car that was park here on north 27th street when he was hit. the video shows what is thought to be a white ford van going down north 27th street towards river road, to make a getaway. police believe not only is it white and a ford but they think it has damage on both passenger side where the accident happened and likely front end as well, on the passenger side of that van. so about a day and a half ago this happened and they have been looking for this van all weekend. they figure it is somebody local because that is not a road would you drive through if you were jus

. >> lets get to fox 29's steve keeley live, with new information, steve. >> reporter: three incidents within a hour and a half, starting at 10:30. first victim is a woman. we have helicopter video of that over a park called vernon park at germantown and shellten avenues. at last report, detectives say she's critical. new lets go to the next incident. about 20 minutes later they hear of a man here beaten to death with the tire iron in front of his house here on fair hill street in the fair hill section. then about a dozen blocks right down cambria street, in the same 29, 2800 block area there they hear of a guy on a bicycle firing a gun at least a dozen times and he killed's 37 year-old man and wounded critically a 21 year-old man. that is how we have four victims within 90 minutes in the one section of town north philadelphia, two of them still critical, still alive but very critical, according to the detectives. what a night of violence here within a two hour window, within a 2-mile radius. so awful night, very busy night. the only good news we have is that the violence stopped right

steve keeley on spangler street. steve? >> reporter: chris, i just talked to investigators, here is what they had. around ten of 1:00 they get a call for a woman screaming, down the street, around the corner. it was 39 year old daughter of this very elderly couple who has lived here for years. the police had trouble even getting into the house, initially, because it is a hoarder situation. so they found a woman 66 year old, very heavyset, face down on the floor, the tv is playing, her husband is 79 years old, and he's also dead. they pronounce them dead at ten after 1:00. and that's why their daughter was screaming and upset. so, they initially thought was it carbon monoxide, was it a crime. they opened all the windows, fire department is called, they break one of the windows, and find no carbon monoxide in here, no signs of trauma, no blood, no crime scene, in forced entry, none of the usual stuff you see. so they're going to have to wait for an autopsy. but the initial thinking from the investigators, possibly this woman

let's head out live to fox 29's steve keeley on spangler street this morning. steve? >> well, again, this is likely a sad story. not a crime story, at least not right now. a retired couple both found dead by their daughter, their only child, 39 years old, who came here to check on her parents after midnight and found both of them dead on the living room floor. she ran out of their house screaming. the couple's neighbors called police to report those screams. they got here and found the couple and pronounced them dead at ten after 1:00. did not finds any evidence at all of any break-in, no sign of trauma to either body, no blood, no evidence of a murder-suicide. so their initial thought was carbon monoxide poisoning maybe. but then the fire department got here instantly and just as fast, got no reading at all of any levels of carbon monoxide. the 79 year old man, and his 66 year old wife, identified bye their family as rufus and alice perry lived in this rowhouse for over 40 years. now, gladys, her oldest nephew, told us, just retired last year after long career as a n

fox 29's steve keeley has the latest from police headquarters. >> reporter: well, it wasn't the big six figure reward, but likely a combination of a guilty conscious and a mother's instinct seeing a son with cuts bruises and bloody clothes. a 19-year-old walked into police headquarters here with his mother and local church minister yesterday afternoon. soon after police had the who and where on number two. they found him a short walk up sixth street. along with whatever the two in custody tell them, detectives also have blood evidence to link them. from when they were cut in the crash and bloody clothing they were wearing when the toyota forerunner came to a stop after running down those three children killed and two adults nearby. along with a critical but stable car jacking victim who police hope will give positive id's when she recovers enough to seal the case. >> the man accused on the deadly ram package on the mercy fitzgerald hospital is facing murder charges. police say plotz opened fire during an appointment last thursday. officers say his doctor pulled out his own gun and fired
