host of "up with steve kornacki." first, chris, your takeaways, i gather what this report reveals and this is the lawyers hired by the governor himself paid for with state funds, is that he was apparently told by wildstein about the bridge plan but he, the governor still says he did not know about it and there's a lot of blame for bridget kelly. is that correct? >> well, what they are claiming is that wildstein told the governor spokesman that he had had a conversation with the governor about the traffic issues in ft. lee. it is not specific what they are saying wildstein told him but saying this would not have registered with the governor because he would have thought of it as some kind of local traffic issue and basically claim he had no recollection of that with wildstein but it could have and probably did happen. just saying it wouldn't have registered because it wouldn't have been presented as i'm pulling off this massive retribution scene. he was pretending it was more a routine traffic issue. overall what struc

. >> joining me steve kornacki and who created the blog the christie chronicles. arguments on both sides today. >> it's interesting. shar also tells the government they received information -- remember they put out two dozen subpoenas in total. it's not just kelly we're talking about here. shar was also saying the committee has received in response to the subpoenas more information that suggests that kelly, more similar to that like wildstein supplied suggests there's a basis for subpoenas. and now we're left in a situation where i think they're given until the end of next week to make that case to the judge based on some of the further information they've gotten from the subpoenas that the subpoenas to kelly and ste pea ought to be obeyed. i think this has been expanded more than people were initially expecting. i think we're not resolving this case until maybe april. and then once you resolve this, there's the question of if this is appealed. then the bigger question that comes into this is by the time all of this plays out, will we in the media see anything from
