joining me now is steve kornacki.t that keeps on giving. >> it is always something. >> there have been stories about them for years. you even got menendez in house, in hearings. in congressional hearings basically pushing people to help out his business interests, right? what do you think? what do we know that has tipped things over. >> like you say, this is something that's been two years now, two years coming. i think you can say he was sort of -- the federal government would charge if they go forward with this that he helped with the medicare case and business interests. for what? we know he got private jet flights valued at $58,000. it is a little it's a lot. you think of senators as being rich, but menendez is one of the least wealthy. maybe the least wealth. so that is a significant chunk of his net worth there. so what the menendez side would say, and he stressed tonight, that he has a longstanding close personal friendship where they have routinely exchanged gifts between the two of them. the idea being that t
