steve paulson back up with us this morning for a look at the forecast. >> it's milton is now a cat five now. >> so earlier than yesterday. >> earlier tomorrow this is the there have only been seven hurricanes that have gone from 1 to 5 in less than 24 hours. this one did it in 18. i think it ties for the second fastest ever. wilma, if you will, was the fastest. it did it in 12 hours. but marie and milton have done it in 18, so there it is, 160mph. category five it looks like. and although, as i was telling a friend of mine, i never trust any of these tracks or anything anymore, hopefully it will come down to at least a cat three by the time it makes landfall on the gulf coast side, but you know, 48 hours away. believe me, so much can change. but to go from 1 to 5, i mean, in a blink, it's just amazing. but when might get up to 165mph in the next 24 hours, you can complain about the heat, but boy, get in line. there's a long line. san anselmo, concord, san jose, santa rosa, napa, redwood city, oakland and vallejo all between 100 and 104. yesterday, the city hit 97. that was a record high
