steve osunsami has more. friends and family members of a murdered d.c. teen this morning. hundreds gathered in northeast last night for a candlelight vigil, in memory of 16-year-old zaire kelly. last week the teen was walking home from a college prep class when he fought back against an attempted robbery. police say kelly stabbed his attacker, 19-year-old sequan gillis, who then shot him. both teens died. kelly had just started his senior year at thurgood marshall academy in southeast d.c. he planned to go to college and major in chemistry. an update on the four-year-old girl who was hit in the face by a foul ball during a yankees game last week.. she's continuing to recover, and is expected to leave the hospital soon. the player who hit the foul, yankees third baseman todd frasier, has been in contact with the girl's father.. and he plans to since the incident, several teams have announced plans to increase netting, to better protect fans from foul balls. now we turn to a more pleasant baseball story. and proof that sometimes a little courtesy goes a long way. check this
