let's go right now to meteorologist steve paulson with the big picture for today's rain situation. steve. >>> thank you very much. we do have this system moving in. we talked about this last week. it's not very often about once every 20 years or so say rain at the end of june. system already moved into mendocino county, lake county and northwest sonoma county. it's on its way and it will start to move north to -- south to north excuse me. the rain will decrease i should say and this system will leave some pretty decent totals i think up in the north bay. ive seen projections of over an inch for some of the wetter locations. now, again, the front has to come through then the associated low itself which won't be until tonight into tomorrow. so as that system drops south the rainfall will decrease rapidly southward but still a trace to .05 and maybe over an inch in some of the wettest north bay locations. the big news will be the temperatures afternoon highs 5 to 20 degrees below average. >>> walnut creek is the scene of a double stabbing investigation this morning. it happened about 9
