steve ritchie. >> good afternoon commissioner. steve ritchie assistant general manager for what. besides please? i've a few slides to show that'll update us on the mountain tunnel project. first here's a schedule for the project that is hopefully clear and concise you can see the next two years a really critical ones for the mountain tunnel project it really three components. the mountain tunnel access improvements, which is getting in there and improving access to the tunnel itself through the roadway access points. the second is the mountain tunnel inspection and repair program, which provides for a significant inspection of the tunnel in early 2017. with some repairs done in 2017 and significant repairs in 2018. lastly down tunnel bypass project. what's important to note there is that it shows some of the work starting before we have actually completed the inspection because we anticipate that while we are aiming for bypass project that we may very well end up with a repair project. so will you be doing some initial work to look at both alternatives, but there's one box on the

. >> thank you, steve ritchie assistant general manager for water. if we could have the slides please. to provide the latest information that we have regarding the drought. in terms of some of the -- routinely our levels of storage and hetch hetchy continues to be high at 93% capacity and water bank is starting to increase. we're releasing water that we are generating hydroelectricity at home powerhouse, providing drafting flows from the tuolumne river, but ends up in the water bank. so it's three-fer at this time. i don't always include this slide. this slide is the status of other california reservoirs. particularly of note, new molonas -- don pedro reservoir at 36% capacity and quite low, anybody have gone upcountry, and you see how low it really is and those reservoirs are extremely low at this point. so we're fortunate to have one that is much fuller. precipitation, i have included this chart because we do continue to get some storms upcountry. so the red line is current year, 2015. and we have gotten to the level we were at least year in terms

steve ritchie, who has been supervisoring my work has been very supportive and harlan kelley and one outcome of this is that the bay work model, there actually isn't anything else in california like it. there is nothing else in the nation like it. i haven't been able to find anything like it internationally, and i am very involved with international water associations. so the kind of tone that the commission takes about openness to innovation has really showed up here and paid dividends for you that i hope will benefit you for many years to come. >> thank you. >> thank you very much. steve ritchie. so it's a pretty impressive meeting we had an opportunity to share with them our thoughts about how things were going with it out. i message that they to him was consistent in line with what i've told this commission back in may on a long piece points. this region, the region that your service area is, as you saw with steve, has some of the lowest per capita in the state. very proud of that, but also means we know we have more to do. in fact, if you look at april 2015 numbers, residential use was 59 gallons per capita per day across 2.3 million residential customers. that's a phenomenal number when you think about it. it was the lowest that month. our agencies and bawsca are aggressively implementing water conservation insert service area to exceed the state calls. all were not us water supplier, racking like we are in hand-in-hand with her agencies on this. we have partnered with them to implement and expand programs in their service areas, step up and provide services that we can do
